Our Grounds![]() We are fortunate in our position, being on the shoreline of Loch Creran with spectacular views to the hills beyond. Creagan StationCreagan Station is the last remaining one on the old Oban - Ballachulish railway line. The original route took passengers on one of the most spectacular train journeys in Britain. Hugging the coastline from Oban it followed three lochs and passed over two bridges one at Connel and one at Appin both of which are now road bridges. Sadly in the 1960s the line was closed. The building has recently been renovated and provides a lovely backdrop to one of our picnic areas.
