New Kids Playarea

Jim has been busy building a new play area for the kids (and adults) next year. it has a new log cabin giant sandpit and some rather tricky balancing steps and beams. We are about to refurbish 1 or 2 more lodges in time for next year so as usual it will be a busy winter.

Can't believe we are nearly into Autumn!

We are almost at my favourite time of year in Appin, the autumn colours are breathtaking and no 2 years are ever the same. I have already spotted some vivid red leaves in amongst the greenery on site. Jim has been busy building another sand pit and wendy house for the kids on the park and we are planning to refurbish 2 more lodges between November and Xmas! So it is all systems go.

HILL CLIMBING

Just thought I would post these pics they show my hubby Jim

only yesterday reaching the top of Ben Nevis. It was boiling hot at the bottom but in the cloud cover a little cooler he made it in 3 hours. Also shown are Jim and our youngest son Ewan at the top of Creagan Hill behind the holiday park. You can see Loch Creran down below. Not as high as Ben Nevis but the view is pretty good!

REFURBISHMENT

This winter we are refurbishing the kitchen and living areas in our upper level chalets Badger, Squirrel, Fox and Otter. Not only are they getting a brand new fitted kitchen each (The first one is being fitted 12th November) but also wooden flooring and new Leather Sofas and furniture. Otter and Fox are also getting new bathrooms. We will put photos up as soon as they are fitted and ready. The builders come in January to start on the Railway Carriage so that will be exciting, at the moment the only thing we have managed to get done is fitting of the specially made double glazed windows but at least that keeps the rain out!
